ABOUT US

The Complete K9 is comprised and operated by a close family of Trainers throughout the Southeast, who came together to offer something MORE for our K9s – because we feel that every dog and owner should be treated as an individual and get the personalized care and help they truly need! Tired of being pigeon-holed into a one-size-fits-all approach to Dog Training, we felt that owners should have options to their dog’s care, and that Trainers should have the freedom and ability to mold packages and sessions as needed to better help the dogs and clients in front of us!

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

While most national Dog Training companies offer Certification Courses that average 7-21 days for Franchise Owners and Trainers alike (because ultimately they are having to be taught very basic training fundamentals), our Certification is MUCH more intensive. Not only do we require relevant K9 background as a prerequisite for being approved to join our team through the hiring process, but Certification starts with 30 days of Trainer Boot Camp (over 240 hours) at our live-in 7,000 sf facility in Sweetwater, TN where Trainees are able to work with dozens of dogs hands on, and get a well-rounded education on everything K9 (including but not limited to):

  • Balanced Training Methods & Skills
  • Positive Reinforcement Methods & Skills
  • PTSD, Anxiety, & Mobility Service Dog Training
  • Federal Service Dog & ESA Laws
  • Puppy Training & Socialization
  • Scent Work & Detection Imprinting
  • Advanced K9 Psychology
  • Aggression Management
  • Operant vs. Classical Conditioning Applications
  • Vaccination Safety & Local Laws
  • K9 Nutrition & Safe Wholesome Meal Preparation
  • Pet First Aid & CPR
  • and MORE!!!

However, training doesn’t stop after 30 Days! Oh no! Between monthly Team Meetings and structured TCK9 supplied Continuing Education Seminars by some of the BEST in the industry offered multiple times yearly – we work to stay at the top of our game every single day; because your dog deserves no less!

HOW DO CLASS PACKAGE GUARANTEES WORK?

Some Trainers out there offer free consultations, but ultimately that is just a marketing ploy. Our Trainers have never met a dog we couldn’t help in some way, and if that day DOES happen, the owner won’t be charged a dime. So, instead of talking about what we can do (or just trying to get a look at your dog to see if he/she is easy enough for us to train) – we want to SHOW you what we can do during your very first lesson and let you make your mind up about us on your own! Love your session and want to stick around? Awesome! Don’t think we’re right for you? Just leave any equipment at your very first lesson, let us know, and get a FULL REFUND; no drama, no crap! We put our money where our mouth is, and believe that ultimately every dog owner has the right to the training they want for their best 4-legged friend.

WHAT ABOUT BOARD AND TRAIN LIFETIME GUARANTEES?

While we can’t offer a money back guarantee on 2 Week Board and Train Sessions (because we have families to take care of too, and we only take 2 dogs per trainer into this program at a time) – we DO offer lifetime support on all of the commands taught in your Board and Train program! We know that a 2 hour training session with you after we just completed 2 weeks with your dog may not seem like enough, so whether you need to see us again to go over the basics, are struggling with maintaining the training your dog received, or just need a refresher lesson because you got busy and let training take a backseat to life for a while; we have your back! All you have to do is give us a call at 888-405-2905 and we will get you back on the schedule for a refresher FREE of charge for the REST of your dog’s life!

HOW DO YOU BECOME A TCK9 TRAINER?

While we absolutely DO train our own team members, we look for a strong background in general canine knowledge and hands-on experience such as training (of course), grooming, working as a veterinary technician, dog walkers, boarding kennel technicians, rescuers, shelter workers, etc. Dog Training isn’t rocket science, but it DOES take an extremely dedicated person to be successful and be willing to live as a perpetual student to continue growing their skills – and we know through first hand experience that individuals that work in those fields have proven themselves in the line of fire time and time again that they have what it takes to put your dog first. If you feel that you would be a fit for our team, then by all means send your resume and cover letter (and don’t skimp on the latter, because we LOVE reading all about why you want to be a Trainer) to us via email at Jobs@tck9.dog!

HOW DO YOU BECOME AN OWNER?

With a family of Trainers in regions that include West Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, and North Carolina; we KNOW the Dog Training industry well – as well as just how under-regulated it really is. So, while there are things we can’t change about the industry, we CAN and DO ensure that we hold only the HIGHEST bar possible by not allowing outside individuals to simply “buy” a location and call themselves an Owner. Instead, we require that all TCK9 Owners be a part of our local Trainer Team for a minimum of 3 years, with at least 1 year of location Management Experience, prior to discussing location licensing or the possibility of owning their own location. Once that time comes though and we know the Trainer has what it takes to operate their own TCK9 location, we do ALL we can to ensure their success by staying hands on and being there as a source of advice, job materials, sales assistance, and more!

Our goal isn’t to be the biggest, it’s to be the BEST!
