Get to know us, you will be happy you did!

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

While the dog training industry is completely unregulated (something we want to see changed ASAP), we believe in doing all we can to raise the bar! One way we do that is through a tough 30-day Certification process for ALL TCK9 Trainers. As part of that process, not only do we require a relevant K9 background as a prerequisite for being approved to join our team through the hiring process, but Certification starts with Trainer Boot Camp (over 240 hours) at our facility in Loudon, TN. This is where Trainees are able to work with dozens of dogs hands on, and get a well-rounded education on everything K9 (including but not limited to):

  • Balanced Training Methods & Skills
  • Positive Reinforcement Methods & Skills
  • PTSD, Anxiety, & Mobility Service Dog Training
  • Federal Service Dog & ESA Laws
  • Puppy Training & Socialization
  • Scent Work & Detection Imprinting
  • Advanced K9 Psychology
  • Aggression Management
  • Operant vs. Classical Conditioning Applications
  • Vaccination Safety & Local Laws
  • K9 Nutrition & Safe Wholesome Meal Preparation
  • Pet First Aid & CPR
  • and MORE!!!

However, training doesn’t stop after 30 Days! Oh no! Between monthly Team Meetings and structured TCK9 supplied Continuing Education Seminars by some of the BEST in the industry offered multiple times yearly – we work to stay at the top of our game every single day; because your dog deserves no less!

HOW DO CLASS PACKAGE GUARANTEES WORK?

Some Trainers out there offer free consultations, but ultimately that’s really just a marketing ploy. Our Trainers have never met a dog we couldn’t help in some way, and if that day DOES happen, the dog’s owner won’t be charged a dime. So, instead of talking about what we can do (or just trying to get a look at your dog to see if he/she is easy enough for us to train) – we want to SHOW you what we can do during your very first lesson and let you make your mind up about us on your own! Love your session and want to stick around? Awesome! Don’t think we’re right for you? Just leave any equipment at your very first lesson, let us know, and get a FULL REFUND; no drama, no crap! We put our money where our mouth is, and believe that ultimately every dog owner has the right to the training they want for their best 4-legged friend.

WHAT ABOUT BOARD AND TRAIN LIFETIME GUARANTEES?

While we can’t offer a money-back guarantee on 2 Week Board and Train Sessions (because we have families to take care of too, and we only take 2 dogs per trainer into this program at a time) – we DO offer lifetime support on all of the commands taught in your Board and Train program! We know that a 2 hour training session with you after we just completed 2 weeks with your dog may not seem like enough, so whether you need to see us again to go over the basics, are struggling with maintaining the training your dog received, or just need a refresher lesson because you got busy and let training take a backseat to life for a while; we have your back! All you have to do is give us a call at 888-405-2905 and we will get you back on the schedule for a refresher FREE of charge for the REST of your dog’s life!

HOW DO YOU BECOME A TCK9 TRAINER?

While we absolutely DO train our own team members, we look for a strong background in general canine knowledge and hands-on experience such as training (of course), grooming, working as a veterinary technician, dog walkers, boarding kennel technicians, rescuers, shelter workers, etc. Dog Training isn’t rocket science, but it DOES take an extremely dedicated person to be successful and be willing to live as a perpetual student to continue growing their skills – and we know through first hand experience that individuals that work in those fields have proven themselves in the line of fire time and time again that they have what it takes to put your dog first. If you feel that you would be a fit for our team, then by all means send your resume and cover letter (and don’t skimp on the latter, because we LOVE reading all about why you want to be a Trainer) to us via email at Jobs@tck9.dog

I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS, WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO FIND OUT MORE?

Our phones are on 7 days a week from 9 am to 9 pm EST, so no matter what day you call, you are bound to reach a Senior Trainer that is there to help answer your questions and get you on the road to a brand new relationship with your dog! However, if you would rather send an email first, just shoot us your questions to Info@thecompletek9.com and we will get back to you ASAP! No matter what your issues are, we’re here for you and your dog!
